Arai Introduces Wave Graphic for the Quantum-X Helmet
Arai America has introduced the Wave graphic for their popular Quantum-X helmet. This striking design from ASD is adorned on Arai’s round-oval helmet, so unfortunately, if you have a long oval or even intermediate oval head shape, this isn’t the helmet for you.
With my first Arai helmet being the Drudi Oriental on the RX-Q a decade ago, I have a soft spot in my heart for the X-Wave design. It features a similar theme but with more updated and modern styling, however the Quantum-X does not fit my head, so I’ll be admiring this beautiful graphic from afar.
The red, white, black, and blue design pops with sharp styling on every side of the helmet. Classic Japanese waves are on the left and right of the helmet, similar to the Drudi Oriental RX-Q, while the crown of the helmet trades out the Drudi dragon for a retro Japanese style scene featuring a tree, sun, and birds. The whole design is tied together with striking red and white backgrounds that produce a modern take on a classic design.
Revzilla currently shows this helmet as being out of stock, meaning that it is probably on it’s way to US soil and should be available any week now.
If you happen to have a round-oval head, the Quantum-X should be a the top of your list of helmets to consider when picking out a new lid, and with the new Wave graphic available, I think it just became even more enticing.
