The Updated Honda CBR600RR Is Not Coming To The United States for the 2025 Model Year
North American Honda held a press release today announcing that the new CB650R and CBR650R will arrive on US soil for the 2025 model year, but hidden deeper in the press release is news on the long awaited CBR600RR model and it’s future of getting in the hands of American customers.
I’ll get right to the point, North American Honda is not bringing the updated CBR600RR, or CBR1000RR for that matter, to the United States for the 2025 model year. Instead, they have opted for the classic “bold new colors” strategy and will be releasing both bikes in never before seen colors….or lack thereof actually. The CBR600RR comes in “Pearl Smoke Grey” and the CBR1000RR comes in “Pearl White”
Many riders, myself included, were holding out hope that North American Honda would be a year late to joining the party, as it has been before - but it appears we may be witnessing the slow death of the CBR600RR and CBR1000RR.
